Ingredients
- ½ cup ice (for shaking)
- 2 fluid ounces tequila blanco
- 1 ½ fluid ounces triple sec
- 1 fluid ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ fluid ounce dill pickle juice
- 1 slice dill pickle, for garnish
- Ice (for serving)
- Optional: Salt or TajÃn for rimming the glass
Instructions
- If desired, prepare your glass by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it in salt or TajÃn. Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice.
- Add the ice for shaking to a cocktail shaker.
- Pour in the tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, and dill pickle juice.
- Securely close the lid of the cocktail shaker and shake well until the outside is frosted, about 15-20 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a slice of dill pickle. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Use the brine from fresh, refrigerated dill pickles for the best flavor. Freshly squeezed lime juice is crucial. Adjust the amount of pickle juice to taste. For a colder drink, chill your glass beforehand. Can prepare liquid mixture ahead and store in the fridge, then shake with ice just before serving.
