Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 slices bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Stir well until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of all four slices of bread.
- Flip two slices of bread so they are butter-side down.
- Divide the shredded cheese evenly between these two slices.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter-side up, to form two sandwiches.
- Place the sandwiches in a large sauté pan over low heat.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully flip the sandwiches using a spatula and continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately while the cheese is still gooey and the bread is crispy.
Notes
Enjoy with a bowl of soup, side salad, or marinara sauce for dipping.
