Crispy Cinnamon Cream Rolls

Ingredients

  • 16 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Slice off the crusts from each piece of bread and flatten them to about a quarter-inch thickness with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon for the coating.
  4. Spread the cream cheese filling over each flattened bread slice, then roll tightly into logs and seal the edges.
  5. Dip each roll in melted butter and then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture until well coated.
  6. Place rolls seam side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
  8. Serve warm for maximum flavor.
