Ingredients
- 16 slices white bread, crusts removed
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Slice off the crusts from each piece of bread and flatten them to about a quarter-inch thickness with a rolling pin.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon for the coating.
- Spread the cream cheese filling over each flattened bread slice, then roll tightly into logs and seal the edges.
- Dip each roll in melted butter and then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture until well coated.
- Place rolls seam side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
- Serve warm for maximum flavor.
Notes
These rolls are best served warm. Pair with fresh fruit or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
