Delicious cheesy ground beef sliders served on a platter.

Cheesy Ground Beef Sliders

Delicious cheesy sliders made with ground beef and zesty sriracha aioli, perfect for gatherings and weeknight dinners.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 12 brioche slider buns
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced or grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 slices cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup sriracha aioli

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir frequently until the beef is browned and the onions are soft, about 10 minutes. Drain any excess fat if needed.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lime juice, garlic, and salt to make the sriracha aioli. Set aside.
  4. Stir the mayonnaise and shredded cheddar cheese into the cooked beef mixture until well combined.
  5. Layer the bottom halves of the slider buns in the baking dish. Top with half of the cheddar slices, then spread the beef mixture evenly over them. Add sriracha aioli, place the remaining cheddar slices on top, and finally, put on the top halves of the buns.
  6. Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds over them.
  7. Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown. Cover with foil if the tops brown too quickly.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

Use lean ground beef to reduce excess fat; can customize aioli with favorite spices. Add jalapeños or bell peppers for extra flavor.
