Caesar Chicken with Asparagus

A quick and satisfying dish combining seared chicken and tender asparagus, topped with creamy Caesar dressing.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the skillet from heat and pour the Caesar dressing evenly over the seared chicken.
  4. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken. Arrange the asparagus around the chicken and season with garlic powder.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the asparagus is tender.
  6. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve immediately, drizzling with fresh lemon juice.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Caesar dressing for a few hours before cooking. For a crispier texture, broil for a few minutes at the end of baking.
